The olive grove Senia, is based in Chiaramonte Gulfi, in the heart of the Iblei Mountains in eastern Sicily. The olive grove is set across fifty acres of land, in which over 2000 olive trees are grown, whit an average production of 6000 litres of oil per year.

The farm is subject to rules of organic farming. Senia is part of the D.O.P.(denomination of protected origin) Iblei Mountains Gulfi.

The product we produce is an organic, mono variety oil, from the “Tonda Iblea” olive tree. In order to achieve the ­nest oil, the harvest is anticipated at bought forward to the beginning of October when the olives are still young and green. They are harvested by hand and are pressed within 12 hours of being picked using the natural process of cold pressing.
